CM’s scheduled visit to West Midnapore and Jhargram changed due to fear of Asani
HnExpress Mayank Chakravarty, Weather Report : As Deep depression turns into cyclone Asani is gradually increasing its strength in Bay of Bengal. As per latest IMD updates Cyclone is gradually increasing its strength, Rain will start in South Bengal from Tuesday. On other hand Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee was supposed to visit West Midnapore and Jhargram.
She was scheduled to leave on May 10, and to remain there on 11 and 12. Later on information visit schedule has been changed due to fears of unrest. Now there is change is in the schedule of the Chief Minister’s district visit. As per the news Instead of above mentioned she will go on May 17, 18 and 19th May. The local Municipality has also started preparations in advance.
