“Pragati Bangla Utsav 2019” celebrated in Kolkata at Gallery Gold ঃ 2nd Edition

“Pragati Bangla Utsav 2019” celebrated in Kolkata on last sunday. This is 14th year of celebration. Pragati Bangla utsav is celebration of world peace and universal brotherhood, oriental art & cultural heritage and traditional bonding between people of Bengal & Bangladesh. What is apply called “Dui Bangla Moitri Utsab”.
The Chief Guest, Shri Shobhandeb Chattopadhyay Hon’ble Minister, Govt. Of West Bengal lauded the effort of Pragati Bangla Utsav Committee to promote people to people contact between Bengal & Bangladesh as well as celebrate & honour the talents & achievements of citizens of Bengal & Bangladesh.
Welcoming the gathering Prof. Dr. Arijit Kumar Neogy. He was a Founder, Director and organiser of Pragati Bangla Utsav stressed on cultivation of cooperation between people of Bengal & Bangladesh through trade, educational & cultural exchange, promotion of traditional arts & crafts in both nations.

A fashion show titled “Anandadhara” and “Ekta Gaan Likho Amar Jonno” choreographed by Archit Ray was presented. Pragati Bangla honoured 25 dignitaries from Bangladesh with “Moitri Samman 2019”, A craft fair hosted to enable creative artists and traditional craft practitioners to display their ware to the invitees .
