HnExpress 21/12/2018 Amrita sikdar, Kolkata : The Believers Eastern Church is an indigenous Church which constitutional Episcopacy and church Governance having it’s Synod Secretariat at Thiruvalla, Kerala. There are 52 diocese under the Synod, having jurisdiction all over India and subcontinental.
The church undertakes community – based varied socio economic development educational and medical activities and carries out specially in remote rural and cities Lambs to the most unprivileged and marginalised section of the society.
All community welfare project of Believer Eastern Church including providing income generation tools animal husbandry, counsellings preventive medicine, disaster management supply etc. Welfare and development activities of Believers Eastern Church of coming new years are mentioned below :
(1) Bridge of hope-A Holistic child development project. The children form poorest of poor in a community are given free supplementary education counselling career guidance nutrition diet in West Bengal there are 31 bridge of hope Centre where 5790 children’s receive education and holistic care.(2) home for homeless Street children and nomadic. This Church runs a government approved and licensed children’s home in Delhi Tamilnadu and Kolkata. (3) safe drinking water supply project by this church project they provide in West Bengal more than 12402 Wells mostly in villages and remote areas and our nation 26000 board wells are installed. (4) bio-sand filter projects-This charge has distributed 1898 biosand filter in West Bengal till 2018(5) disaster management. (6) poverty alleviation programme- this Church has plan to help 3746 families under this project in 2019-20.
(7) widow care home project- research provides physical and mental care of 700 widows and their children’s those who were helpless and hopeless. (8) Blindness Control Programme.(9) leprosy mission project. (10) Believers Eastern Church health project: Church runs to Medical College and Hospital in Kerala and medical centre in Purulia West Bengal and organised medical camps in different part of India. (11) sanitation project. (12) Social awareness project for employee empowerment of youth and women who are suffering ignorance. (13) literacy program. (14) educational services.
