“150 years celebration of Aukhoy Coomar Laha with social note”

HnExpress 11/01/2020, Amrita Sikder, Kolkata : Aukhoy Coomar Laha a landmark paintshop since, 150 years before independence of India. To celebrate this precious moment this store decided to dedicate their skills and techniques to make our city more colourful. Desi yaar the store felicitated 10 technicians.

Mr Debasish Kumar, Mayor in Council, Kolkata Municipal Corporation, Mr. Shubhamoy Laha and Debayan Laha the fifth generation of Aukhoy Coomar Laha where present in this celebration. Bengali businessman Aukhoy Coomar Laha established his paint shop on 1870 at Esplanade opposite of Tipu Sultan mosque.

And prove that Bengalis can be a successful businessman beside their intellectuality in studies and research. The legency in his own Dwarkanath Tagore and great grandfather of Mr Shubhamoy Laha world most successful businessman mentioned by Mr.Subhamoy Laha in this event.
